This is a beginner class and we will show you a number of samples and discuss which items you can make.

We will have activities specifically suitable for young children as well as our usual assortment of adult projects. The children's projects will include minimal glass cutting. If they do need to change the shape of the glass, I will safely cut for them.  The adults' projects will include cutting although we have plenty of precut glass shapes that some people choose to make their entire piece out of what they find in the glass scrap buffet. I am on hand to teachm, assist and guide the whole time.

Choose from an array of projects for beginners designed for you to make a fun project in one evening that will then get fired and you pick it up at a later date.  Possible beginner projects are: rectangular garden stake, flower garden stake, coaster, 2 ornaments, suncatcher, 2 pendants or 2 pair earrings, or 1 pendant and 1 pair of earrings.

Beginner projects that require additional fee paid in cash or Venmo on the day of the class:

Nightlights - additional $12

Standing Tree Sculpture - additional $10

Standing Gnome, Snowman or other figure - additional $10

After your piece is arranged and glued to your satisfaction, and ours, we will fire it in our kiln, and your unique piece will be ready to pick up in about a week. 

If you cannot pick up your piece, we can mail it to you for a reasonable shipping and handling fee.

If you cannot return to pick up your items, projects can be mailed for an additional fee.

1 session, 2.5 hours

Fee includes use of our tools, grinder, materials for this project & one firing. Items will be ready about a week after class.
