About the Event
Join us for the opening reception of Power of Protest 2 on Friday, October 4, from 6–8 PM, part of the River Valley Art Festival. This exhibition showcases new work by Connecticut women artists responding to urgent societal issues in 2025.
RiverFire Glass’ Jeni GrayRoberts will present her striking, eco-conscious fused glass pieces made from reclaimed materials, transforming discarded objects into art that challenges our disposable culture. The evening will also feature a performance by River Valley Dance Project, created in response to the works in the show.
All donations and proceeds, including 10% of artwork sales, will benefit PRISM Counseling in Killingworth, CT.
