Offsite: Glass Gardens: An Introduction to fusing @ SnowFarm

Add a touch of whimsy and charm to your home with an enchanting fused glass garden panel. The process starts with planning and sketching a garden design and then creating individual components such as flowers, critters, grasses and other elements. On the second day, after these items are pre-fired, they will get fit into the full panel design and fired again. Students will construct and stain wooden display stands for their glass garden which show off the glass in its best light! Through the process of creating a glass garden, students will gain understanding of cutting and shaping glass, firing schedules, use of power and hand tools, and more. Best for beginners.   *May 31 is the arrival day for this session. Workshop instruction starts on June 1 and ends June 2.
