This is a private group beginner to advanced beginner class to make a 6" round Coral Bowl. or a 10" round bowl.
We will give you a brief primer on the fascinating properties of glass and it's history. Then we give a demonstration of how to properly and safely use each of the hand tools we use to cut and shape glass. Then you all get a chance to try it out. We will show you a number of samples and discuss what will make your bowl successful.
After your piece is arranged and glued to your satisfaction (and ours) we will fire it in our kiln, and your unique piece will be ready to pick up in about a week to 10 days. If you need it sooner, please let us know ahead of time and every effort will…
