This fun Glass Fusing workshop does not require any prior experience. We will help guide you as much or as little as you like. All materials needed to make 4 fused glass coasters are included

You choose: coasters or suncatchers, or one of each.  Using real leaves and recycled glass...make a set of truly unique fused glass decor.

We’ll start off by giving you a basic overview of glass fusing, show you a variety of ways to safely cut glass, explain the importance of proper construction, display some design ideas and then you get to belly up to the bar, the glass bar, that is. All RiverFire Glass fusing workshops feature our glass buffet at which you can easily pick out all your components to bring back to your work station.

After your piece is arranged to your satisfaction, we will fire it in our kiln and do some finish work for you.  Then each piece will be wrapped in recycled paper and you can pick it up in about a week, usually less.  Suncatchers, will have high temperature nichrome wire embedded by you before firing and a piece of monofilament will be tied on by us after.  We will attach 4 clear bumpers to each coaster for you. If you cannot pick up your piece, we can mail it to you for a small shipping fee.

This project is for 2 fused glass coasters, each approximately 4” square.
