This fun Glass Fusing workshop is for adults and teens and does not require any experience or artistic talent. We will help guide you as much or as little as you like. All materials needed to make one item:

This class will focus on Garden Art: rectangular garden stakes, flat flower stakes and 3D flowers, .  I will mount them for you so you can put them outside in your garden or in a potted plant.  They look lovely and add color to your garden all year. Please note, there are 2 prices for this class, $45 for flat items normally offered on Fuseday Tuesday including garden stakes and flat flowers mounted on stakes.  Or for $62 you can make a 3 dimensional flower that I will mount on a garden stake for you. This process is not necessarily harder for you, but it takes me quite a bit more time as these will require post-firing grinding off burrs and then a second firing using a mold.

As always, for $45 you can also (Pick Your Project - Suncatcher, Garden Flower, Garden Stake, Pendant Necklace, Coaster or Ornament..

Students will create their very own one-of-a-kind beautiful fused glass art by designing and arranging pieces of colorful art glass that we melt together in our state of the art fiber kiln.

We’ll start off by giving you a basic overview of glass fusing, show you a variety of ways to cut glass, explain the importance of proper construction, display some design ideas and then you get to belly up to the bar, the glass bar, that is. All RiverFire Glass fusing workshops feature our glass buffet at which you can easily pick out all your components to bring back to your work station.

After your piece is arranged and glued to your satisfaction, and ours, we will fire it in our kiln, and your unique piece will be ready to pick up in about a week. 

If you cannot pick up your piece, we can mail it to you for a reasonable shipping and handling fee.

This project is for:

 $45: Pick Your Project, 4"x4" Suncatcher, 3" - 4" diameter Garden Flower,  2.5"x6" Garden Stake, approx 1"x2" Pendant Necklace-includes silver plated bail and black satin cord, 4"x4" Coaster or 2"x3"-ish Ornament).

$62: 3-Dimensional 4"-6" glass flower mounted on a garden stake.

Fee includes use of our tools, grinder, materials for this project & one firing
